PC doesnt power on when plugging new GPU 1050ti

I have an old setup with Phenom x6 1100t and 970A-DS3 mobo with 8GB 1600mhz ddr3 ram. Powering system is a TX 650.

My recent 660ti was fried when playing BF5 open beta and i ordered 1050ti (inno3D). After installing the GPU, all fans moves a little and then stops with no boot at all.. i removed the GPU and all fans spins and powers on correctly.. i borrowed an old gpu from friend (HD 6670) and it boots perfectly to the desktop.. but with my 1050ti it doesn't even power on.. I have flashed new bios while testing with HD 6670 but result is same.. system boots with HD 6670 but not with 1050ti. Pls. Help

Ehm, does the 1050ti require additional 6pin?

No.. it doesn't require any power connector.

Does the onboard work while the 1050ti is plugged in?

There is no on board graphics for 970a ds3.. but system powers on and all fan spins when i start without any gpu

Oh i apologize.Ill update if i find something , but as I understand,the uefi of bios might not support the gpu.

Turned out to be a DOA 1050ti.. Have received new 1050ti from Zotac and it worked... So, after all new GPUs do work on legacy only motherboard bios.
