PC doesn't power up

Hi Everyone! My PC that I built around 5 years ago stopped powering up a few days ago. I've done some tests and determined that PSU is working fine. Also, there are "reset" and "power" buttons that are on the motherboard which lit up once i connect the power cable to the power supply. However, the PC doesn't power up. I suspect it's the motherboard. Anybody has any other ideas? Thanks!

Yes it is! There is a power button on the motherboard that i tried as well.

Try resetting the BIOS to defaults. Do the fans spin at all, anything go on when you try to turn it on?

It's very likely the power supply (unless you tested the power supply in another system and it worked there) and less likely the motherboard.

There is nothing going except for those "Power" and 'Reset" buttons on the motherboard. They get lit up if the power cord is plugged in. Other than that, nothing heppens when i try to power it up. I tested the power supply in another system and it works fine. Not really sure what to do next) Thanks for your reply!

If power supply tested fine in another system, try resetting the BIOS, if that fails, try to boot up with as few components that will get the system running, remove the video card if you have onboard video.

Just tried all of what you suggested! Still nothing!

Yes, that's the first thing that came to my mind. I was hoping it'd be PSU.
