Pc doesn't recognize HDD

My computer that I built 3 years ago has been working fine, and today when I decided to boot it up it didn't recognize the hard drive. I checked to make sure all the cables were plugged in and such, and I'm not sure what else to do. If anyone could help that'd be much appreciated.

No, it doesn't. I checked to see if it was the sata ports or even the cables and those were working just fine.

The electronic part may be burned out,maybe yu can check it in another computer to confirm ?

Sadly that is my only desktop in my house so I can't check.
