I have recently bought H110M-R motherboard to replace old P8P67 LE and allow use of 7th generation CPU. However, upon assembling the PC all I got was fans spinning, HDD sounds and no visual output to monitor meaning the PC does not boot even to BIOS. I am wondering whether it is faulty Motherboard or faulty CPU. It seems to me that there is something grey on bottom of CPU but I am unsure. I do not know how to post a picture. I do not have mobo speaker

P.S. I couldnt connect my PSU to 4-pin port on the upper side of mobo, only to 20-pin port on the left side

Specifications:
H110M-R mobo
i3-7100 3,9 GHz
8 GB DDR4 RAM
NVidia GTX 1050ti
2400W PSU

Your motherboard may require BIOS update before i3-7100 can be used on it.
H110 initially supports only Skylake cpus and SkyLake CPU is required to perform BIOS update. i3-7100 is KabyLake.
If you have chosen B250 motherboard instead, you wouldn't have this issue.

And 4pin CPU 12V must be connected. Without it you won't be able to start your pc.

2400W PSU doesn't sound right. What manufacturer/model is that?
GTX 1050 ti requires at least 300W PSU.
