Hello, happy new year to everyone reading this!

Just bought a new pc, 2 months old:

Cpu: Ryzen 5 1600 af
Motherboard: aorus b450m
Ram: hyperx fury 8gb x 2
Gpus: 5600 xt 6g (gigabyte windforce OC)
Psu: corsair cx650

The gpu was the last thing i bought, i was using a gtx960 before, used it for 1 month with this build till i bought the 5600

So i installed the new gpu and it worked fine, played some old games i like to play and cyberpunk when it was launched

The problem;

Tl:dr: got green screen and pc shutdown after few hours of play time on demanding games

The problems started with cyberpunk, sometimes i got a green screen and had to hard reset the pc, happened every few hours, thought it was the games fault with all the trouble it got at launch, but then i played other demanding games like red dead 2 and total war and it happened again, same thing, few hours of play and green screen hard reset

Solutions I tried:

Tl:dr: old drivers, install driver without amd software, old bios

Googled for my problem and found a lot of people with the same problem, same gpu and different solutions.

First i installed old drivers, got the same problem

Then i installed new drivers without amd software, same problem

Tried old drivers without software and again no luck

My last try was old bios. Some of you may know that amd released a new bios for this gpu that made it more "powerful", boosted the clock and other things, iam no expert. So i thought (and some ppl that were having the same problem as i did too) that maybe the bios was the problem and i gave it a try

Went to the techpowerup website, searched for my card and downloaded the oldest bios

Worked fine, the card was working with lower clocks but was working and it is not like my cpu could keep up with something more powerful anyway

Played for a week without green screens until today when i got one again

New problem:

So i thought "f... it" if i will be getting greenscreens anyway ill install the newest bios again...

Went to the oficial gigabyte website, searched for my card, downloaded and installed the bios, got the message "system reboot" clicked ok and now the system wont boot

I can turn my pc on, the fans work, the motherboard and gpu light up, but i got no signal on the monitor and the lights from the keyboard and mouse doesnt light up

Iam kind tired of looking for ppl with the same problem as me and finding slight diferent ones that may or may not correspond to mine so i decided to ask for help here...

Thank you in advance for anyone that read this and is willing to try to help me

My pc is working with my old gtx960 tha thanks god i didnt sell

Probably bricked my 5600 xt, i have the backup bios saved but i dont have onboard graphic to install it

Maybe iam screwed...

Unbricked it installing the older gpu on the 2nd pci slot to get video and installed the backup, it is working now

Dunno if the green screens are back yet, will see

One thing is sure, will never buy amd again, it was the 1st amd card i ever purchised and they come with this bios thing that screws their own hardware, i just want to plug and play!

Even if no one responds to this ill continue to update, maybe someone with a similar problem find this topic and it maybe help, i dunno...

Today i got green screened again

I'll make a tl:dr to make it easyer for anyone reading this:

My RX5600 xt gigabyte windforce 6g OC is having green screen crashes when playing demanding games

Here is the list of things i tried to fix this problem:

1: format computer
2: unninstal driver with DDU and install again without amd sofware, only driver
3: unninstal driver again with DDU and install older version with amd software
4: unninstal again to install older driver without software
5: update gpu bios to most recent version
6: install oldest gpu bios (this one had the most "sucess", no crashes for 1 week when i was having crashs daily)
7: install another version of the most recent bios from the gigabyte website (bricked the gpu and made me create this topic)
8: fixed the gpu with the backup bios i had

None of these things worked, if someone has any idea what could fix i would be happy to hear

The last thing ill try is literally calling customer support and get a new gpu since i still have the warranty
