Hi guys,
At the beginning i want to apologize for my english :)

I have the following problem. I bought PC, I assembled everything, i clicked power button, fans started bo there is no image on the screen. The debug LED on mobo inticates "DRAM is not detected or fail" I searched a little and i found that i should try another ram ports. When i put RAM to slots 3 and 4 everything works. PC get up, I installed Windows, i installed drives. Ok, time to test #2. I changes slots to 1-3. Still nothing. Fans started. but no image on the screen. I tried every combination, but it works only on slots 3 and 4.
I checked RAM with memtest: no errors.

Maybe You have any advice what should i try?

Spec:
mobo: msi b150m pro vdh
cpu: i5 6600
gpu:msi rx 470
RAM: patriot Viper 4 2x4GB

Solution

You could have but i doubt you would damage the RAM slots while installing those parts. If the RAM works fine in 3/4 slots you will probably be alright.

Also, the CPU-Z is supposed to show half the speed of DDR RAM. e.g. 3000MHz RAM will show 1500MHz.

I dont think this is a problem. Not all Dual Channel works in 1/3 and 2/4 - yours must just use slots 1/2 and 3/4 for dual channel. The colour co-ordination of the slots should also be an indication.

It is probably a faulty motherboard then. If you have 4 RAM sticks you should try all slots at once and see how they work, if at all.

unfortunately I have only 2 Sticks 🙁

Can I damaged it when i was installing cpu and cpu cooling?

Yee i know dat cpu-z shows half of the speed. But im talking bout "Channel # single".
Maybe i damaged not RAM slots but memory controller?

Okey guys, thanks for your answers, i think i'll try to send mobo back on warranty.
