[SOLVED] Pc dram led blinks twice and pc reboots

I switched the cpu of my motherboard (p8 h67 mlx) and now the pc won't boot. The dram led light blinks twice and then the pc shuts off and loops endlessly doing the same thing. I suspect the cpu I used isn't compatible with the motherboard the exeon e3 1220 v2 cpu. Any help is appreciated
