I've been trying to install several software and drivers on my pc, and I am thinking of using a driver pack instead of downloading them one by one. Do anyone here has a recommendation which driver pack is good to use?

Solution
And I will add the suggestion that you be very careful about the source sites for any such software and drivers. Packs or otherwise.

Drivers should be obtained directly from the applicable manufacturer's websites and (seconding @Dean0919) manually downloaded, installed, and configured.

As for "software" be careful there as well. Ensure that you are downloading legitimate applications - no pirated apps.
I would suggest you to download them manually and keep them somewhere safe like on your flash drive if you decide to reinstall OS. I'm not familiar with driver pack softwares, but I wouldn't trust them. They usually are bloatwares. Best way is to do it manually.

Thanks for your opinion! I really appreciate it :)

there is a Russian software app with that name, that is likely the same in idea as driver booster and Driver easy, programs that say they make it easier but often install the wrong drivers. They can make it worse than before.

there is also driverpacks.net which, in their own words:

They are intended to be used while creating a Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista or Windows 7 installation disc/image. We also provide you with the software to make that as simple as possible.

You likely don't need either, you should get them from motherboard makers website unless Motherbaord is old, then windows probably has drivers already for most of the hardware.

Thanks for your input @Colif I really appreciate it :) My colleague has been using this driver pack and he said that it's really working well. I am just making sure that it'll be worth to try driver packs :)

No it won’t be and I wouldn’t trust it. Get your drivers from your motherboard page or directly from the makers of the software themselves

lots of companies seem to be jumping on the Driver update software bandwagon. Almost all of them used to survive selling software that would "speed up your PC" but over the years have become less essential. So its join the "we make finding drivers easy" brigade which should be shut down.

You don't need any of them. They just trying to survive in the cracks left now windows removed most of the reasons their software existed before. As windows gets better at cleaning up itself, their areas of usefulness dwindle

Drivers are one area they can survive unless hardware makers give microsoft a copy of every new driver.. if they did that the windows update catalog attached to windows update would have all the new drivers, and all these programs would be even less useful.

Really. Its more a risk than its a gain. I have used one of them before and twice it loaded the wrong drivers creating more trouble than its worth. You create problems for yourself.

Easier to find out what you have now
  1. download and run Driverview - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/driverview.html
  2. All it does is looks at drivers installed; it won't install any (this is intentional as 3rd party driver updaters often get it wrong)
  3. When you run it, go into view tab and set it to hide all Microsoft drivers, will make list shorter.
And then go to hardware makers website and download the newest drivers, Might take a little searching and checking your driver number is the newest.

but if you do it yourself there is less chance of the wrong software being installed. And nothing you don't know about.
