Due to heavy rain..my pc was fully under Water for like an hour.
I pulled out pc and started drying all the components.

I tested Psu and it was dead.
Mother board is dead too.
HDD and SSD dead too.

Now all i have left is my processor and Rams
Is there any chance they could survive?
I Dry them by putting them in Bag of Rice overnight.

Now i want to know How much % chance it have to survive?
And is it safe to test them on a New motherboard?

Spec :
Cpu : i3 7100
Ram : 2x4gb. 2400mhz

Solution
So is it safe to test Mother board on New PSU?
IF the MB has had sufficient time to fully dry out, and there is no foreign material on the MB, it would be safe to test it on a new PSU (replace the CMOS battery first), and I wouldn't be surprised if it still works.
I think there is a chance they may have survived....but I don't know if I would risk them on a new motherboard....because I think there is a chance water may somehow have seeped in and shorted something....and a short in the CPU or the memory I think may possibly could cause a MB failure.

I think my current MB (That is Dead) is in warranty..maybe i should try to send it to service and then check on it....thats all i can do to test the cpu and ram right?
Or is there anything else i can try?

I cant afford to lose the New motherboard.

Warranties dont cover liquid damage. Good luck.

Unless you have another system you would need a new board to test ram.

I'd say if the cpu and ram are dry they shouldn't be damaged, but this is merely an assumption.

Sorry about your luck. If the mobo and psu is toast, consider everything attached to them as toast. Whatever errant voltages were present enough to kill the motherboard will be enough to kill everything attached. If you happen to find something that lived, bonus! But assume everything is a write off from the start.

Theoretically if you left the computer next to a dehumidifier and made sure everything was 100% fully dried, it COULD start back up. However based on your original post I suspect there was still moisture on the internal components when you attempted to turn the PC back on and that is what causes the damage.

From my side i only tested PSu after dry it ...and it had a little blast when i turned it On.So its dead for sure..
And about motherboard..i didnt tested it coz i dont have psu but i asked a computer eng. And he said motherboard has a Cell in it so it should have short circuit and thts why i assume MB is dead

But still i want to test MB as of your answers...So is it safe to test Mother board on New PSU?
