Is there a comercial option for the new mac pro 2013?
Equally portable and powerful (or better), or can someone suggest a build in the same price range and size.

Mac specs ($3000):

and a $8099 "upgraded version"

with Intel Xeon E5 8 cores 3.0 GHZ
64 gb ram 1866
2x AMD Firepro D700
1 TB SSD

I dont like apple and I really wanna know if there are PC options.

Well I don't think you can get your hands on the Firepro D700 or their custom motherboard. But yeah you can get to that level of performance for a lot less.

PC Partpicker doesn't carry a lot of the workstation parts in their library. LGA2011 motherboard, Xeon octacore @ 3.0 Ghz. Only a few 1TB SSDs to choose from, but you would probably want something from the enterprise sector with over-provisioning for durability. 8x8 GB ram kits are out there, though you'll want ECC memory here to match.

Still going to be super expensive. It would be better to describe what you are wanting to do so that someone can make a build to that.

To be honest I just want to know if there is the possibility to build a pc to do the same a Mac Pro 2013 does, i.e. 4k Video rendering, around the same size and performance, and same or cheaper price or if the only option out there is to buy Mac products. I know they use a custom mobo and graphic cards.

The most impresive feature for me its the size, 9.9 in tall, 6.6 in diameter and 11 lb weight, Im no expert but I think it would be hard for a pc to beat that.

Windows/linux workstations already exists as you can imagine from the large vendors such as Dell and HP. however getting it into the same size would be a real struggle seeing as Apple have custom made the shape, which favours a smaller form factor over user upgradability.

This is a nice article, and it contains suggestions of what I wanted to know, specially the comments are the most informative ones, thanks for sharing it with me.
