PC Ethernet not working, but wireless does

Hello! I changed my wireless router and modem with a new one. It worked fine until one day, i turned on the pc and the internet wouldn't work. It said i have network connection, but in the Ethernet properties it says i don't have ipv6 acces.I tried to use the google dns, reinstalling the network driver, resetting the ip's with the netsh command and tried another ethernet cable with no effect. The wireless connection on my laptop works fine. Also, troubleshooting the network doesn't bring any solution. What should I do?

plug the modem into the pc if you get online then the router may have failed. on the router do a hard reset then make sure it has the newest firmware on it. try plugging the laptop into the router with the new firmware to make sure it working and the ethernet port is ok. try the laptop on a free wifi hotspot see if it the laptop or the router.

I plugged the ethernet into the laptop and it connects to ethernet, not wireless, so it's working. The router already has the newest firmware.

try downloading the newest wifi drivers.

Well i installed the driver on the cd which came with my motherboard, but if there are newer drivers i can't download them because i don't have internet.

Never mind, solved it. All i had to do was type "netsh winsock reset" (without brackets) and restart.
