I run the 3DMark demo (I believe Ice Storm is the benchmark) on my PC containing this EVGA SC GTX 780 and at about 15 seconds or so, my PC suddenly powers off. I know that at least somebody else has experienced this issue before, but is this a common/semi-common problem? Is it something to be worried about? If I were to run other things (games, benchmarks, etc.) fine but still have problems with this demo, would that be indicative of an issue with the demo, or an issue with over-stressed hardware that still needs to be RMAed?

So even though it appears to be a hardware issue (sudden loss of power), you think it's a software issue? That's my hope, it just seems odd.

I've only tried a couple of other things so far, so I'm not sure what it can handle yet. I just wanted to know for when I do run these things. What benchmark (preferably free, but not necessarily) would you recommend?

How much power does a 780 require at load? I'm using a Corsair HX850, and I was under the impression that this should be plenty. It's just the single 780, a 4770K, a few drives, and that's most of it.
