Okay, sorry if this is the wrong section for the topic. I hope a moderator will move it to the correct section. The problem I am facing, is that my PC fails to power up altogether. No beeps, nothing at all. The power button on the casing lights up for a second and then goes out. I'd normally think that my PSU is busted, but that is quite possibly not the case. You see, this has been happening for about a week now. During the week, after multiple tries, it would power up, and function perfectly. No problems, no overheating. For the past two days though, it doesnt start up anymore. No matter how many times I try.
Here is the procedure I used to use, to get the pc to start. I'd turn on the UPS(more on the UPS will be posted if anyone wants to know), then press the power button on the casing, wait for it to light up. If it went out, the attempt would be unsuccesful. Pressing the power button again does nothing. Turning off the UPS and turning it back on, and THEN pressing the power button again causes the power button to light up once more, before going out. This would be repeated until the computer powered up properly.
A few things to note :
Holding down the power button for longer time increases the duration before the computer loses power.
Also, I do get one beep now, right after which, it shuts down. I know my English is bad, it might be hard to understand.
