Question PC fan lights turn off after a few seconds

I have three cheap fans and they are connected through a fan splitter. They used to work perfectly fine, but the lights stopped working a few months ago. I have tried not using the splitter, trying all the different fan ports on the motherboard but nothing seems to work. Recently, I noticed that when I turn my pc on, the lights work for a few seconds and then turn off. I can't seem to figure out the problem.

ROG RX 570
16GB 3200mhz ram
256gb Kingston m.2
1Tb WD hard drive

Make and model of your "cheap" fans used in the build? A link to said fans would help us two fold. Make and model of your PSU and it's age? BIOS version for your motherboard?

psu- CX450M corsair and its about 3-4 years old
also i don't know what my BIOS version is and i don't know how to tell
it might be helpful to say that i switched from a 500W psu around the same time
