Pc fan sizes

So I just upgraded my amd radeon hd 7730 to a gigabyte gtx 960. It runs fine and all however it makes my cpu insanely hot, thus i went and measured my fan sizes and came up with 4.5 inches exactly or 114mm. I searched around and havent found any fans at 114mm. Is it safe to use a 120mm fan?

Also i am 100% certain i measured correctly, screw to screw is 4.4 inches.

Im not sure what case i use, i bought my pc already built from ibuypower

Sorry for the super noobish question, this was legitimately the first time ive dared to open my pc case.

Some alpine 12w fan, it was the stock fan so im not too sure
