Question PC Fan too loud while updating windows 10

So ive been having this problem for a while, whenever I try to update windows my fans go extremely loud and the screen looks laggy so i cannot finish the update. Could anyone find a solution for me?

CPU: i5-8400
GPU: GTX 1060
RAM: 16GB
