System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (Fallout 4, CODs, WoW, Tera, Blade & soul), streaming gameplay (League of Legend mostly). All of them on the highest graphic setting as possible.

I'd keep the i7 if you are streaming, the extra threads will not hurt at all. It is highly dependant on what kind of encoder you use (x264) is cpu bound etc.

If budget allows keep it.
