The Ryzen build has more cores, a much bigger SSD, a better GPU. It will be a better fit for you needs.

Solution

A 500 GB SSD is good, but I would rather a 240 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD than a 500 GB SSD only for his kind of work.

i have a 1tb from my old system that i will be using. I found a 256gb m.2 ssd from adata for $58. Also i read that a gtx 1070-1080 will be fine so maybe a 1070 ti . How would editing be with a 2600x and a 8600k( saw hardarecanucks edit using an 8600k instead of a 8700k)

They will be decent, depending on level of editing and resolution. However, the Ryzen 7's two more physical cores will certainly go long ways.

Yeah I put 500gb only because I was on a mobile device and didnt have the option (that I know of) to add another lol. 90% of the build I posted was premade from a 1300$ build I already had saved. It was more for a reference of what he should expect to get for the budget.

I am leaning towards the ryzen 2700x because i cam multitask/stream while playing games. For editing the videos will be 1080p60fps. I just want a smooth experience all round. For gpu im going with the 1070/ti or 1080 based on pricing since they are almost alike and get similar performance. Until someone changes my mind to go with the 8600k or 2600x with a 1070

Hey all, just wanted some answers on specs and figured I could try my luck on existing forums before posting my own.
Looked at a couple and have some specs on some preowned systems at similar prices. I know the very basics on PCs but that's it. I just need it to stream my console play, and maybe edit videos for Youtube. I've heard just streaming, you can get away with a pretty cheap system.
1. VS450 Corsair Power supply (80 white), Gigabyte Aorus RX580 8gb, 6gb of RAM, Seagate Barracuda 500gb HDD, Gigabyte B85m Motherboard, Intel Core i5-4460, Running Windows 7 pro. Would buy new case for it.
2. MOBO: Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H, CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 3.4GHZ, RAM: GSkill Trident 8GB, GPU: MSI Nvidia GTX 460 HAWK 1GB, HD: WD 1TB, SSD: Intel 120GB, PS: Corsair 620W, DRIVE: LG DVD Burner, CASE: NZXT Phantom Tower w/ Fan Control, COOLING: XSPC Watercooling System, FANS: 5x Silent GELID. (know nothing about AMD CPUs)
3. i5 6500 3.2GHz turbo to 3.6GHz, 8GB Team Elite DDR4 2400Mhz, Asus Strix GTX 970 4GB, AsRock B250M Pro4, Samsung 960 EVO 250GB NVMe, Cooler Master Hyper 212, Corsair VS450, NZXT case with side window, 2x Corsair 140mm fans (intake) 1x SilverStone 140mm fan (exhaust) 1x Corsair 120mm fan (exhaust)
4. CPU: I7-2600S 3.8GHZ, Graphics Card: GTX 960 2GB, Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H77M-D3H, RAM: 2 x 4GB G.Skill Sniper, Storage: WD 120GB SSD and a 1TB WD HDD, Case: Thermaltake Case (would change case)
5. CPU: i7 3770k, CPU COOLER: Corsair h80i, MOBO: ASUS TUF Z77, RAM: 16GB G.SKILL RIPJAW X, GRAPHICS: Radeon HD6950, BOOT DRIVE: 128gb SSD, POWER SUPPLY: Corsair HX650, CASE: some thermaltake aero series thing (would change case)

What do you think? Would they do the job fine? Or should I look at slightly more expensive systems? Money isn't an issue. Just think it stupid to buy an overkill system that I won't utilise. Won't be gaming on it at all. Streaming and small video edits. Thank you :)

Drop that PSU. The VS450 is a no go. Run away. Take a better unit.

What is your budget? For $700, you can do some good for a PC that's main aim is to stream:

Hey ArchitSahu

Ok no worries. These are all second hand systems that I've been looking at. Figured it would be cheap then buy new as I've never built a PC before so I may have to pay someone for services in that area.
I'm in Australia so Im not sure how prices vary
The ones I put up previous ranged from 500-600
I could definitely go to 700 in needed. Thanks for the specs on those example builds. I'll look on AUS sites and see what I could get them for.
I just had a look on the AUS amazon store for example and just the core alone is $508 at the cheapest place/ So unsure I'd be able to replicate those builds here for anywhere near similar prices unfortunately
