Pc for graphic desighn (CAD/CAM) and also gaming.

Hi, i have a z800 motherboard in a desktop tower (kolink luminosity). Both CPU's are xeon hex cores at 2.4ghz water cooled each with a 240mm radiator. Should i upgrade to 3 × quadro fx5800 from my 780ti? Will it achieve the same results for gaming. I know it will be great for CAD and CAM which im familiar with but what will they be able to achieve under the load of games, I've read this aeticle and it seems they run ok. https ://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Can-you-game-on-an-NVIDIA-Quadro-GPU-604/

Will they be the same as something like a 980 which also totals to £250 second hand. Im assuming the quadros are worse in that perspective but because of small demand they're also cheap (£75 used each)and the only thing i can sli so its also future proofed.

Less and less games are really caring about optimizing for SLI/Crossfire. 3 cards work even less better in some games.
