I want to make a mid range gaming computer that will get a minimum 100fps on highest settings for minecraft. I put together one on the internet but when I was done it was $1400.... Can you please make one for me please and give me the links to the parts? I know how to put it together except I just dont know what is good. I want to spend around $700-$900. I also have a question about cpus: Which is better AMD or Intel for gaming?

Solution
You won't need to spend more than $800 for a really good minecraft computer. Intel is generally considered better for gaming, but AMD offers a lot of great budget options as well. Here's a good rig for around $725.

Solution
I forgot to mention I already have a cooler. its the susanoo scythe and it needs a full tower. and since I'm gonna use win7 home premium I kind of want 4x4gb of ram. thanks for the help man!! 😀

Minecraft will not see ANY performance increase form ANYTHING over 4gb RAM. 16gb is pointless for gaming in general.

(Generated by PCPartPicker 2013-12-21 01:36 EST-0500) this is about 2x as powerful for gaming as what is posted above. Also you will not need you cooler because neither of these build can be overclocked.
