PC for Video Editing

Hello,

I'm looking to upgrade to a more powerful PC for video editing (on Premiere and After Effects). I've been looking at the HP workstations, but can't quite figure out what may be best for me. I'm not all that knowledgeable when it comes to PCs, either.

For video editing and rendering, will I need a 6-core CPU or will 4-core be sufficient?

Am I going to need a dedicated graphics card?

I'm also confused about RAID and how it works.

Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
