I have been having some problems with my PC recently. While playing games, PC keep getting freezed without any notice. When I say freeze, it means complete freeze along with screen, keyboard led, mouse led etc.
After this freeze, I removed PC power cable and waited for couple of minutes then restarted the PC. PC did not start, instead it keeps getting turned on and off at regular intervals (around 3 sec) without posting anything on screen.
I checked PSU voltage for 12v line with multimeter and observed that during this turn on and off cycle, voltage was dropping to 0 when off and comming back to 12v when on.
From these observations, I think it is PSU issue. But it may be Motherboard issue as well.
Did any experienced something like this in past and if so, what is the solution to this problem?
System specs:
CPU: i5-6400
GPU: Zotac GTX 960 Amp 2gb
Mobo: Gigabyte H110m-s2
PSU: Circle 600W
HDD: 2x1 TB WD HDD ( 1 black and 1 blue)
SSD: 2x120 GB SSD ( WD green and Kingston UV400)
