I have some trouble.. i reinstalled OS so many times and it happens all the time.. my pc freeze randomly sometimes, i try to get lastest drivers or without update it, i try diacnostics for cpu(intel diacnostics tool) for ram from cmd, for HDD from cmd and with HDDSentinel, i'm thinking if this happens because i have just 4 gb ram and i run Win8.1 Pro x64.. after i boot OS first 2-3 days not doing this.. after it happens.. i tried different windows, 8.1, 7, 10 and still.. it happens when i play, when i watch youtube sometimes even just stay on desktop and try to open folders or something like that..
PSU: Game Daemon RPO400 400W
Motherboard: MSI H61M-P31 / BIOS V3.1 i guess last..
RAM: 4GB DDR3 idk the name of this.. around 20$
CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 3.20Ghz / default FAN
GPU: AMD Radeon R7 265 2GB GDDR5 Dual-X Sapphire
HDD: 1 TB Western Digital Blue
I have a wireless adapter, TP-LINK WN832N and i want to update to a TP-LINK Archer T3U in next 4-5 days

Solution
  1. Maybe the MB
  2. Maybe the PSU
  3. Maybe the RAM
  4. Maybe ....

But 1) Try to use the "reliability monitor tool " to see you will get something or not. https://www.howtogeek.com/166911/re...windows-troubleshooting-tool-you-arent-using/

If there is nothing. Then remove the r7 265 ( using the onboard intel iGPU), and the wireless adapter, and other USB device ( except the mouse/keyboard). The run the PC, like watch the youtube, or just use the PC to see your PC will freeze randomly, you should try to use the minimum hardware to test the PC, when you got unknown error.

2) Also test the RAM with MemTest86 https://www.memtest86.com/download.htm you want to free any error, if you get one...

3) Use HWMonitor to monitor the cpu and gpu temp too.
https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html Post the temps back.

4) Test the HDD with HD Tune http://www.hdtune.com/ Check the S.M.A.R.T. to see it shows the HDD is fine or not.

5) Go into the BIOS, in hardware monitor or PC health monitor section to check the +3.3V, +5V, and +12V. You want to see these voltages are within +/- 5%, eg: +3.3V, it should be within +3.1V to +3.45V. If they are not within +/- 5% range, the PSU has problem.

6) If you use the onboard iGPU to run the PC, and the PC will not freeze, that means either the PSU or the r7 265 has problem.

So good luck.

Is it your MB? https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/H61M-P31-G3 because I can see the newer BIOS is V2.7 only. So check the MB BIOS version again.

Check your HDD with Seatools again, just make sure the HDD is fine or not. https://www.seagate.com/support/downloads/seatools/

I need to you confirm that the PC can boot or not, when you use the onboard intel iGPU. Or did you mean the PC shows no boot device error when you try to boot the PC?
