Hi Guys,

I have a threadripper PC -

THREADRIPPER 2990wx
MSI X399 SLI PLUS MOTHERBOARD
CORSAIR 128GB (8*16GB) DDR4 3000 VENGEANCE
GALAX RTX 2070 8GB OC
WD 4TB SATA INTERNAL HDD 7200 RPM
XPG SX8200 PRO 512GB 3D NAND
ANTEC HCG - 1000 POWER SUPPLY
COOLER MASTER LIQUID ML360R RGB

I am using this PC for 3ds Max + Vray Rendering. For sometime I am facing issue with this PC. All of a sudden it stops working. PC doesn't shutdown/restart but I can'not access it neither directly nor through remote access. In order to shutdown the system I tried to press and hold the power button but then also it doesn't shutdown. I had to switch off from Power Supply.
Yesterday the graphic card stopped working so I plugged other working card (RTX 2060) still I faced the same issue of system freezing.
Can anyone please suggest what could be the issue?

Other issue I am facing is of Overclocking. It doesn't go above 3.5GHz:(.

Reason for sharp performance regressions with the 2990WX was caused at least in part by Windows spending far more time moving workloads from CPU to CPU than it ever spent actually executing work.

The solution to this is a utility named CorePrio:

I have tried CorePrio but it doesn't fix the issue of System freezing. :(
