Pc freezes after sometime on playing game like GTA IV, FIFA 12....

Since last couple of days, I am facing a weird problem. My pc freezes randomly after playing these games for 10-15 minutes. I have formatted my pc and installed all the required drivers but to no avail. I used to play these games without any problem before. My pc specifications are:
processor: Core2Duo E7400
Graphics card: nvidia geforce 9500 GT

check your cpu and gpu temperature as well

it might be the gpu temp. The cpu will beep when its overheating and when you ignore it it will simply restart.
