Question PC Freezes and then wont display anything when restarting.

So I’ve come across a problem, my PC will randomly freeze and when it does, I have to shut it down and restart as I cant do anything. However when I do go to boot it up, it then fails to display anything on my monitor, no matter how many times I restart. It doesnt do this in safe mode but my resolution settings do change when I go into safe mode (dont know if thats normal). From these symptoms, I thought it was a GPU problem so I reinstalled the driver. Problem still prevails.

ASUS ROG Z390-E
32GB G.Skill trident z ram
Intel i7 8700
ASUS ROG RTX 2070
1tb m.2 SSD
750watt PSU

Probably is a GPU problem, the resolution change is normal as the GPU drivers aren't loading in safe mode.
What is the exact make and model PSU?
Have you cleared all previous drivers using DDU then reinstalling latest?

I think I ended up fixing it by taking out the GPU and running it via the onboard graphic and then reinstalling the GPU, maybe it was a dodgy connection? But for future reference in case it pops up again, I’ll keep the DDU in mind. As for the PSU, I’ll see if I can find the model tomorrow, its late atm. Thanks for your help.
