Pc freezes as soon as i run fifa 14 demo

I've installed fifa 14 demo today, but everythime i try to open, my pc freezes. As soon as i click the play button, everything freezes and i'm forced to manualy reboot. I know it's not a problem related to my pc because i have an alienware m17x with ati radeon hd4870 and i7 1.6 ghz processor. Also have win 7 64-bit. I've tried everything, from updating the graphic card driver to unistall and install the game again. Fifa 13 would run just fine, i really don't know what to do now...

It could just be the demo u are trying to play.it might be buggy so i will just wait for another demo or for the full release.

Yes it might be, also because I had the exactly same problem with FIFA 13, and I solved it with a patch. The strange thing is that people don't have problems running it and also I talked to an EA game specialist that told me from my msinfo32 file that I had a problem with a kernalbase.dll file (???) which was caused by damaged ram or windows installation...since I run memtest86 and it didn't show any problem with the ram, I suppose I should just reinstall windows again and try if it works...

U could try that.but i wouldnt reinstall windows just to get a demo to work.Since u are doing fine with fifa 13, u should be okay with 14.But still,if u want to play this game so bad,then u could try reinstall windows.Also do u have the latest drivers from amd?
