PC Freezes completely when starting a game.

Okay so, basically I am trying to play some games, and my PC just freezes completely , even the mouse and the keyboard stop functioning and my only choice is to physically reset the pc.
Iv'e tried to format the pc, I am using Windows 10 64 bit.
Iv'e tried the memory diagnostic thingy windows has built in, 100% no errors.

Specs :
Pentium G4400 @StockSpeeds (Temp always under 40c) (stock fan)

HyperX FURY 4GB DDR3 1600Mhz CL10 @StockSpeeds

MSI GTX 1050 Ti GAMING 4GB OC @StockSpeeds (Temp never above 45c)

Gigabyte B150M-D2V DDR3

Corsair PSU CX430

A very basic case.

Windows 10 64 bit

Test the drive the games are on for errors using HDTune. If its steam games also verify game file integrity.

Hi,

If the temps above are idle temps, monitor your temps to see if not overheating. Might be hard since game locks up at startup.
Might want to test with stress software.
+1 check hard drive (I recommend test with hard disk sentinel trial for bad drive )
Might be your psu. CX psu are under performer and might chock when under load.

What is your motherboard bios version? May need to update.

After that try uninstall your video card drivers in control panel. The use DDU to remove all left over configs and download a fresh version new drivers incase the old was corrupted.
