Hi all, hoping someone might be able to help me figure this out.

I bought a brand new computer from IBuyPower a few months back and I've been having no end of trouble with it. The current biggest issue is that it keeps freezing during gaming or even if I'm animating, if it's under any kind of stress beyond watching videos. It doesn't do it consistently though, I just went almost a week without it crashing for seemingly no reason.

I just switched out the HDD and the PSU. The old HDD was corrupted when it got here and the old PSU was 480w so I replaced it with a 650w because I thought that was the problem.

Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i7 @ 3.20GHz
Motherboard
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. PRIME B360M-A (LGA1151)
Graphics
W1943 (1360x768@60Hz)
4096MB ATI Radeon RX 580 Series (MSI)
Storage
931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-22MFCA0 (SATA )
RAM
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz C16 (PC4-19200)
PSU
Corsair CP-9020122-NA CX Series 650 Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certified Non-Modular Power Supply

Any help would be appreciated, I'm not sure what could be the problem anymore.

Check for any errors with
MemTest86
If you have errors, the memory needs replaced.

i7-8700
Supported memory: DDR4-2666

Memory can be set by enabling XMP in BIOS.

The RAM is a brand new stick I used to replace the old one that came with the computer. I checked both awhile back and neither showed any signs of problem, I don't think it's a RAM problem, but thank you.

it may be the heating issue check your cpu temperature not exceed 60-65 under full load and gpu temp not exceed 60 under full load and make your cabinet have best air flow. I have 4 fans in my pc 2 in front for intake fresh air and 2 on upper side for out. And i suggest you to upgrade your cooler to AIO it best.
