So my PC would randomly shut off with no warning. Whocrashed and that other software (i think it was called OCCT) gave me nothing, no details at all.

I'd try to turn it back on and it would always freeze at the ROG splash screen, some days I'd get super lucky and make it in, not like I could use the PC because it'd shut off on me anyways

So I tried a clean install of Windows but that didnt help

I've now replaced the PSU and swapped out a new SSD, and trying to do a clean install of Windows 11 it keeps freezing during the initial setup.

I've also tested each stick of RAM and the issue persists.

Any ideas/suggestions would really help me out :'(

Specs
MBD: Asus Crosshair VIII
CPU: Ryzen 5950
GPU: MSI 3080
RAM: 64GB Corsair Vengeance

These photos are the spots it always freezes at, forcing me to restart:

Apologies for the late response!

Previous PSU was a Corsair AX860
Current one is a Corsair RM1000e

CPU temp in BIOS is 51°C / 123°F

Also not sure if relevant, but one of my rgb fans stopped lighting up (still works), and when I opened up the case to replace the PSU I noticed what looked like white ash on the cables. Could be dust, I just remember it being really white
