I posted a solution at the bottom of the page for abyone who cant get help with this exact issue....Long time lurker here so my issue is beyond my understanding...basically what happens is at random times usually during network copy from my home server or downloading and sometimes during idle my system freezes and has a high pitch noise and freezes completely with no hdd activity or it will fing blue screen I have reinstalled windows many times the real issue is I can't swap parts to another pc besides the graphics card which works. I took a picture right after the last freeze http://lookpic.com/O/i2/1669/gYjvmAml.jpeg any help is appreciated
Fx 6300
Gigabyte 970ga ud3p r2
Crucial ballistic x sport 8gb x2 (make that one the second failed memtest86+ so it got trashed)
R9 280x msi 3gb
Adata sp600

Also noticed it freezes usually around 12-16 mins

I have disconnected it from my network and will monitor it.this pc seems to have more than one issue I had a bad dimm and that is now trashed but it still whines, it seems like I need to just build a new system between a dead dimm and a potentially dying psw or mobo. This is very frustrating especially because I use my.home server 24/7 for copying and downloading back to the host pc. Sadly I can't check any parts that I haven't all ready

As much as I work with computers this is beyond me,I have had this issue since I got the system so I really feel like I have to go gungho until it gets fixed but can I even justify buying another am3+ mobo when I could get a i5 4670k and mobo for $380 versus a 8350 and mobo for $330

Back on topic though it only happens when copying from the network. On many fresh installs tried drivers from the mobo site and whatever else I could think to do. This is a huge problem as I was able to transfer over my network just fine or I wouldn't have a network setup. During network transfer it freezes but other times it goes black and restarts

And to clarify this happens at login or randomly usually when I try to copy a big game over my network, other times it won't freeze it will completely reboot

now when i disconnect my ethernet when trying to se fastboot to flash an android device my pc was now buzzing when copying so i think its the mobo because the psu isnt making the whining noise but im paranoid i already threw away a dead ram stick this pc was fine for 6 months i dont think fixing it would be as worth it as getting a newer processor like the 4670k and mobo since that costs the same as a 8350 and mobo unless there are more steps fo rme to take? sadly i cant really test the mobo with another processor or test the video card. any help is very appreciated this is my daily gaming pc and i probably wont sleep anytime soon lol

The PC starts and can run games sometimes but I noticed.my.north bridge is really hot. So at this point I have ran through all the scenarios in my head. Either I get a new motherboard and wait for zen CPUs,don't bother and wait for zen CPUs,or build a system using a 4670k and a gdz97 mobo. Also need to replace the fans on my 270x since one runs slower than the other

Wow I'm shocked no one has said a thing. Well I just bought new ram figuring it would be easier to buy a mobo I plan to use with a 8350 since zen CPUs will be ddr5. But my only problem seemed to be faulty ram because no I have absolutely no freezing period.
