PC freezes in desktop after startup

So i installed AVG Free 2015 and icecream ebook reader and it asked me too reboot so i did and aafter that everytime i try to go into safe mode i cant because the syste wont recognize my keyboard, so it goes into desktop but before that a light blue screen pops up (with no letters or anything) and after that it detects my mouse and keyboard and it compleltly freeze after that cant even move my mous or hit crtl+alt del to go to start up menu ,so im kinda stuck here what should i do?

uninstalled malware bytes and it works now !!

AVG is worse. That can cause probs too
