[SOLVED] Pc freezes on motherboard splash screen when booting usb with windows installation

Ordered new parts for girlfriend to upgrade an old pc of mine (msi 970 gaming, fx 8350, 8gb patriot signature, 450 w psu, msi 750ti, seagate baracude 2tb). Got it all together and everything turns on but when choosing usb with windows 10 installation files it freezes up and occasionally will give me an error saying the files signature couldn’t be verified and the pc needs “repaired”. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Try formatting, cleaning off the usb from any files, and reinstalling the windows installer files on the usb. How many gigs is the usb?

I’ve tried formatting, multiple different windows 10 from installation tools, I’ve even tried a bootable iso with windows 7 and it does the exact same thing. Usb is 32gig

Onw question I do have is where are you getting the windows install/iso files from? Are you using an old win 10 disc that was already installed on another computer?
