Hello
This problem started in June, and then again in Septemer. My PC would freeze mid "game" if you will. This seems very sporadic. I cannot Ctrl + Alt + Delete, Esc, Alt + Tab. Nothing works, i cannot even toggle caps lock and num lock on and off when it freezes. Before i thought it was because i bumped into my PC, but this time, i did not touch it at all.
Usually i would be able to turn the computer off and back on again, but not this time. See old thread from previous similar issue. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3728794/freezes-randomly-locks-completely.html
So after i got the PC shut down, i turned it back on and as soon as i loaded up steam, it crashed again with a STOP CODE: Kernel security check failure.
I followed the following steps from Toms Hardware to address this stop code. http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-3128603/fix-windows-error-kernel-security-check-failure.html
In addition to assessing my drivers, i ran a test of my memory. All drivers were updated via verifier and my memory passed the test.
Now my pc doesn't seem to turn on at all.
- Is my windows OS corrupt?
-Should I purchase a new ssd, did it go bad? I currently have a kingston v300 SSDNOW.
Any other questions just let me know!
Of course id like a solution but id also like a discussions of everyones ideas
Thank you in advance.
