Hi, i recently finished a used parts build.

Specs:
FX-4350 with wraith cooler, the biggest one (without that rgb ring)
4GB DDR3 ram (checked, no problems)
GTX 760 192-bit
be quiet! L8 530W CM
m5a97 pro (newest bios)
crucial 275GB ssd

It freezes randomly, requiring hard reset. During videos or gaming, mostly.

The drive was pulled from a notebook, where the same occured. Only pulled out, used a utility from amd to literally purge all amd drivers.

The OS took a longer to boot for first time, but nothing displayed besides that dotted ring. After that, used that purge utility and installed nvidia drivers. It started to occur like 2 days after the build was finished.

Temps are okay - about 20 celsius low load, 40 celcius high load on cpu.

No bad sectors found, using hdd regenerator prescan
It is very annoying, how to fix it?

Solution
Hello Tomas_269

If nothing that you tried helped, please Reset Windows to Factory Defaults (without erasing your personal files). This will remove all the third-party apps from the computer, and restore the built-in ones to the factory settings, while keeping your personal files unchanged.

Hope this helps.

Feel free to report back if further assistance is needed.

Cheers!!
