Pc freezes randomly

Hy, i,ve recently received a gtx 550 ti from a friend... I,ve installed it, it works but the computer keeps freezing randomly after i installed it. Freezes like: still image on the screen but no mouse movement, no ctrl alt del...nothing...

I am inclined to think that the psu is the problem and i would like to buy a new one but i need your help choosing.


My configuration:

PSU: rasurbo dlp-435 430W
Motherboard: asus p5q se plus
PC: intel core 2 duo 3,16mhz e8500
Ram: 4gb ddr2 667MHz
Video card: gtx 550 ti
Hdd: a whatever 7200 rpm hdd

I have an old pc but it workes just fine for my needs. I mostly watch YouTube videos and the gtx 550 ti was a big improvement for me... Until the Freezing started....

Back to the questions: Do you also think that the psu is the problem? If yes, Which psu would fit my configuration the best?

Scale up to a 600 or 650 Watt power supply unit but go for quality - the cheap ones are cheap for a reason.
