My PC freezes like this whenever I play these 2 particular games: CSGO and DOTA 2
Other games run fine and can be played for many hours without problems.

I've noticed that the LED indicating the hard disk is busy/running will turn off whenever the PC freezes. This problem happens randomly and it happens whether I overclock my system or not.

The pics below are taken when the PC freezes during a game in CSGO.

Solution
Have you tried removing and reinstalling these 2 games... Probably won't make a diffrence but worth a try. Also install them in a different drive.

Yes it only shuts down while gaming especially the 2 games I've mentioned.
I've stress tested the system both on stock and overclock using AIDA64 and it's able to run a few hours without any problem.
Unigine Heaven shows good scores too as compared to other users' scores in some forums.
Every driver is up to date from the manufacturer's website including the BIOS.

Yeah, tried reinstalling games, reinstalling OS too.
Installing them in a different drive is something I could try.
Thank you.
