Question PC freezes when downloading games.

Hello everyone, i have been having this issue for the past few months now.

So, what's exactly my problem?
Every time when i try to download a large game, my computer freezes after a while... sometimes its when the download is at 5% sometimes when its at 50% sometimes even when its at 80%... and when it does freeze the only way i can "fix" it is by shutting off with the power button, then if i try again same thing will happen.
I am not sure if this is relevant but... i noticed in the task manager that it goes to 100% disk usage when the freeze occurs.

PC specs:
CPU: i5-7200u
RAM: 8gb
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 950m

does this drive is nearly full in capacity also i would use is maker software seams to be going out .

did you test it with is maker software and did you clean old cookies on and old temp files a defrag might help .
