When this happens the keyboard lights go out, can't move mouse and can't use Ctrl+Alt+Delete. The display still works but is frozen. The only way out is to restart the PC from the case restart button.
Interestingly this only happens if I leave my PC idle in desktop, browser or with any open window. When I run video games and leave the game idle this never happens.
