Question Pc freezes while gaming

Hello gues so recently I started having this issue where my pc just freezes and after that it auto restarts the only solution that worked for me is decreasing the maximum processor state to like 80% and the only issue with that is that my fps starting dropping in games is there any solution what could be the cause of that

Processor amd fx 6300
gpu nvidia gtx 750ti

What are the rest of your specs. Ram/Mobo/PSU.

It could be a couple of things really. Does it crash, blackscreen, BSOD, random restart?

This could be a few things. Download hardware monitor and check your temps. I use to run an FX-8150 and the pump on my cooler friend which left me with a constantly freezing OS. If it's running too hot, it could be time to invest in a new heatsink (The Hyper 212 Evo is a good budget fix), also perform a memory test to make sure it isn't your ram

Mobo : Asrock 960GM-VGS3
Psu : Huntkey gs600
ram : 1stick of 8gb hyperx fury 1600hz
And about the crash everything just freezes screen turns black and after few seconds the pc restarts
and it has nothing to do with temp

For me it sounds like a PSU issue. That PSU you have is not great at all. I'd look to get a new one asap. If it dies, it could bring some of your hardware with it.
