PC freezes while in games or under load

Whenever i am playing a graphicly intense game after about an hour or shorter my pc will just freeze. All the lights inside my pc stay on but i have noticed that the drivers on my keyboard freeze and the lighting stay stationairy
specs:
gigabyte windforce gtx 1060 3gb
thermal take smart 600w
asus prime b350me
ryzen 5 2600
(2) 4gb sticks of gskill ram 3200mhz

Take the side off the case and play and see what happens.

when you built the PC, did you use an old HDD/SSD with an OS on it, or did you do a clean win10 install?

I have an intel m.2 660p series with 512gb with the OS
and a WD blue 1tb harddrive for games

i thought it was heat around a month ago so i bought more fans and now i check my temps and they are well below overheating

Did you play with the case side off?

Could be the PSU overheating, that's NOT a good unit at all.

In other words try it and see.
