I'm using a AMD Visher 8350 with 8GB of ram, 1.5 Tb of HDD and a GTX 960 4gb PNY

i cant figure out what the problem is but I'm using the windows 10 netflix desktop app, in fullscreen mode. will be watching for multiple minutes and then suddenly this will happen(check the link, i took it with my phone)

i have uninstalled and reinstalled my GPU drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. This is just bothersome and it seems like its getting to hot even though the fans never spooled up. Any Ideas?

i have open hardware and theres no overclocking at all. I'm thinking it was the app, but idk how to tell because the app itself didnt just crash, my whole PC became unresponsive.

If you look at your idle and load temps, we should be able to rule out the problem being a heat one.

I have cleaned my PC, fans/filters were really bad. It's helped with it getting loud but that wasnt a problem.

I have conducted windows memory diagnostics only for that to find no errors, done a Furmark and a Prime95 test. prime95 passed a 40k test for my CPU with temp range of 15C-55.9C(on stock fan which is surprising to say the least), Furmark averaged 25 FPS with temps of 25C-72C.

The Tests didnt cause my problem that I've been having with netflix. My friend who just got his AAS in Computer Security and Networking, plus CompTIA Certs says it might be my PSU, but from what I've read is that it might be my GPU because I'm using HDMI. I am very confused with this issue

Also my HDD randomly spikes to 100% usage, im using windows 10, theres no programs or anything running(that i started) that causes this and i look under task manager and the most thats being used is 0.1mb

I've had this same thing happen to me and only while watching either HBO or Netflix.
Games run fine, I just recently got a gtx 970. It never did that before I got the card.

I reinstalled Win10 and its on driver 358.91 so im hopeful it was just the driver. FYI, You can do a clean install of win10 if you have activated win10 on that same PC through a win7/8/8.1 upgrade. APPARENTLY MS SUPPORT DOESNT KNOW THIS
