Question PC freezes

Hello,
I have a problem. My PC began to freeze
completely and I can't do anything. But if I do the "deep scan" in avg it stopped freezing my pc. If the "deep scan" is done my pc froze again. That began a week ago. Since now I can't even start Avg and my pc freezes after 5-10 minutes. I hope you can help me.

Boot up in windows safemode - does it still freeze?
Install Malwarebytes or ZHPCleaner and run that
MEMtest ram
hard disk sentinel to tell you if your hdd's are dying
for starters

Post Specs of PC - including cpu/ram type/mobo/PSU make-model/GPU etc
