Hi,

my system freezez soon after heavy load\some games. I have the following spec:
Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model: Z87X-OC
BIOS: BIOS Date: 07/10/14 16:23:29 Ver: 04.06.05
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.5GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770

I've been to the local pc service and they changed stroc coller with a Havik 140 and said that they did all the stress test and it passed, however that is not true. I have adde a picture of a short Priem 95 test (PC freezed after a minute or two) and also the tempereature of CPU whene the whole thing failed.

Do you guys think this is overheating issue or is my CPU bad or any other reason?. Once I alos received a bluescreen - CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT if this matters?

Solution

92? This is not a question for us. Sure we can say it's too freaking hot and the cooler and CPU needs to be cleaned, thermal compound needs to be reapplied and reseated but that is not your problem. They charged you? And they FAILED you, miserably. Let them see this screen shot. If someone replaced the radiator in a car and it was overheating they would be responsible for similar failures. They are responsible for incorrectly installing that cooler. When/if they fix this failure, NEVER deal with them again.
