Title says it all. Last Monday I decided to clean my PC, as well as the RAM stick and slot with a can of contact cleaner. It worked with no problems until Friday, where my PC froze in the afternoon. Keyboard didn't work, mouse didn't work, nothing was loading, the screen simply froze. I turned my PC off and on, but it didn't work. It only displayed "No signal" on my monitor. I removed the RAM stick and inserted it again, but it worked this time, until it froze again hours later. Since then, I tried everything: compressed air, changing slots, eraser, nothing.

I ran some tests with the Windows Memory Diagnostic, and despite freezing on the first run, it went fine in the second. Didn't detect any issues. Decided to run Memtest86 as well, but it froze during the second pass with no errors. Did I do something wrong with the RAM? I never cleaned the stick since two years ago, where I replaced my CPU fan at a PC store. The owner cleaned my stick and the slot with a contact cleaner and it worked fine. What could be the issue?

I even did some other tests:
HDD: Health is normal. Tested with CHKDSK, CrystalDiskInfo and HD Sentinel
GPU: Working as normal. Even tested with another one. I assumed it was the culprit until the PC froze.
CPU: Used Intel's own Diagnostic tool. Health is normal.
PSU: Normal.

Here are my specs:
OS: Windows 10
CPU: Intel i3 7100 3.9GHz
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
GPU: RX 570 4GB
RAM: Kingstom HyperX Fury 8GB 2400MHz
MOBO: ASROCK H110-HG4
PSU: Corsair CX450

Solution
Make sure its properly seated and in the correct slot? and ideally getting 2 sticks of ram will make a pretty decent difference in performance. If your mobo CPU can support it a faster rated set will help too
