I was playing a game and my Internet timed out for a few seconds and I kind of dropped my hands on the desk , I didn't slam it or anything like that but it made my computer freeze which is around 40 cm away from the ”impact” on the same desk, and it stayed frozen so I turned it off an on, afrer launching discord and using it for 1 minute it froze again and it stayed frozen for next 20 minutes so I went to turn it off again, this time when I turned it on I went in bios and I disabled my overclock (that I had on for around a year) and afrer that I launched task manager to see if my cpu goes up before crashing. It was doing good for a few minutes but when I launched discord it froze again after a minute and I had to turn it off again, there was nothing noticable on the task manager

What could be causing these freezes?

Solution
Check to see if it accidentally wiggled a cable/connector loose, inside the case or the back of the psu just for the sake of it. Maybe start by trying other tasks like a game, website etc..

If nothing seems out of the ordinary and everything crashes it maybe try to run a system checker? Are you are running off an hdd? There is a chance (very slim) it could have disrupted the hdd while the disk was spinning.

I have a nzxt case and I'm having troubles getting to my PSU, it crashes with other programs and apps as well but I will try to run a system checker but I doubt it will go through the whole process before it freezes

Turns out this was the case, it was the HDD, good thing is that I have warranty
