Ever since mid-December 2023, my PC I built in July 2023, began having these stuttering freezes that lasted 5-8 minutes, with the PC chugging every 2 seconds and the audio as well. And when the stuttering stops, I see the RGB lights on my Keyboard, Mouse, and RAM sticks light up even though I turn them off by default, and finally the WiFi Driver is completely missing until I perform a Restart.

These freeze ups seem to happen in like, 1 in 3 PC sessions. There are entire days where there's no issues. Then on other days while on MS Edge or gaming, it suddenly freezes up.
I've tried DDUing my GPU and CPU chipset, reseating the GPU and RAM Sticks, updating my BIOS, using the default BIOS settings and default stock RAM settings (4800MHz instead of 5200Mhz), and more. I even checked the memory via MemTest and there weren't any reported issues.
The most recent solution i tried after the latest freeze-up was updating my WiFi and Ethernet drivers. As well as clearing out my MS Edge Cache + disabling Hardware Acceleration. The only other solutions I can think of is:
I sometimes see people suggest PCs can suffer from CPU or GPU temp issues. I don't know how to report the temps (and it's strange it would only flare up despite no issue between July to Nov)
If anyone knows similar issues or solutions, I'd incredibly appreciate the help 🙂

- If it's AMD software related, either I wait for a software update fix later, or I rollback to the pre-December Adrenalin Software.
- Getting an Anti-Virus software incase there's Malware?
- I check the CPU to see if there's any bent pin. I just am hesitant to because the whole process was demanding (thermal paste, getting the hooks latched on)
- Or worst case scenarios if all fails and this continues to be an issue months later, I reinstall Windows or have to buy new hardware.
