I've been having problems with my computer for a while now, heres a link https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/all-usb-devices-disconnecting-and-reconnecting.3757446/ to my previous post of the issues I was having. I managed to get this to stop, I'm not 100% sure what I did, but I THINK what it was is I pulled the plug on the USB 3.0 connector on the motherboard. Now what happens is while in a game, it will just stutter or freeze for like a second or two, sometimes 1 time sometimes more than 1 time in a row. What I think Ive noticed is that, this only happens when I have sound through my speakers, not my headphones ( need to do further testing on this to confirm). Its not like its under real heavy load either, 15% CPU 30%MEM. Also I recently installed a new PSU, if this is relevant. It would be nice to know if this is a hardware or software issue.

Things I have done so far: Set the X16 slot to Gen 3.0, Disabled XHCI, CSM and C states, Fresh install of Windows, Updated all drivers, Updated BIOS.

Mobo Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC,

cpu is amd ryzen 7 5800 x,

RAM is Gskill ripjaw 32gb x2 16 ddr 4 3600 ,

ssds 1 is Samsung 860 Evo 2 tb, Kingston sv300

PSU corsair rmx series rm750x 750 watt, 80+ gold certified

GPU MSI 2070 Super

All help is appreciated, this is a nightmare, thank you.

From your other thread;
I just installed a new PSU, the old one died.

Did you replace it with the same unit(only brand new)?

Fresh install of Windows,
Where did you source your installer for the OS? Did you recrate your bootable USB installer to rule out a corruption in your installer? On that note, did you manually install all relevant drivers in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator? Please include all of your USB driven peripherals.

No the old one was EVGA. I used https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and downloaded the windows tool. I didnt recreate anything. For my drivers I went to https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B550-AORUS-PRO-AC-rev-1x/support#support-dl-driver and downloaded them. I think theyre just zip files, that ask for permission, I will check though. View: https://imgur.com/a/NpoOWlu
(USBs) not sure if this is what youre looking for. Also under properties>power management - I turned off Allow the computer to turn off device to save power. for all of these.
