I've been having problems with my computer for a while now, heres a link https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/all-usb-devices-disconnecting-and-reconnecting.3757446/ to my previous post of the issues I was having. I managed to get this to stop, I'm not 100% sure what I did, but I THINK what it was is I pulled the plug on the USB 3.0 connector on the motherboard. Now what happens is while in a game, it will just stutter or freeze for like a second or two, sometimes 1 time sometimes more than 1 time in a row. What I think Ive noticed is that, this only happens when I have sound through my speakers, not my headphones ( need to do further testing on this to confirm). Its not like its under real heavy load either, 15% CPU 30%MEM. Also I recently installed a new PSU, if this is relevant. It would be nice to know if this is a hardware or software issue.
Things I have done so far: Set the X16 slot to Gen 3.0, Disabled XHCI, CSM and C states, Fresh install of Windows, Updated all drivers, Updated BIOS.
