PC freezing in normal mode, fine in safe mode

My pc keeps freezing when its booted in normal mode but works fine in safe mode. After a few minutes the screen just freezes, my mouse and keyboard are unresponsive and have to do a hard reboot. Ive run virus scans, malware scans done an sfc /scannow in command prompt. I ran ccleaner and the registary editor until there were no errors in that. Ive uninstalled a few things to see if that was also the issue but no luck. Ive also booted into normal mode and ended as many process as it will let me. Running out of things to try, any suggestions?

I've tried to install windows 10 but it crashed at 44% so i cant even do that either, I dont have my win 7 disk so not sure if i can do a clean install.

Run msconfig.exe and go to the startup tab. Disable all items. Reboot and confirm problem disappears. If so, begin turning back on startup items one by one, rebooting and testing to see which one causes your issue.

I've been in similar situation, problem disapear after i put ssd/hdd in ahci mode in bios and reinstall to win 7 and then upgrade it to win 10.

I used msconfig and it seemed to be something run by Microsoft in the boot section, it wasn't anything in the startup. It ran all last night and didn't freeze so seemingly its working now at least.
