Question Pc freezing on startup

I recently got this PC had it for over a week working fine but today I've been having this issue where when I startup the PC it freezes on the boot loading and then get the blue screen of death with a whea_uncontrollable_error and I dont have even an option for troubleshoot options and cant do anything else besides go to the bios and I dont know what to do anymore.

Boot a memtest live cd/usb and use it to test the memory and see if you have any errors.

Well it's a good thing that you can at least get into BIOS.

For something to physically happen to the motherboard or the CPU during that timeframe is odd. Did you do anything with the PC? Like spill water on it?

There could also be a problem with one of the motherboard's ram slots, so make sure you do a memory test too Oxi.

Okay, well thats good.

Another thing I've realized is that it might be getting less power than it needs. Over time, the motherboard or some part of it could've fried. Other than that, I can't really help you, sorry.

Alright, thats good to hear. The only components left is the motherboard, CPU and GPU if you have one. It's all about troubleshooting right now.

Nope there weren't any errors

There's plenty of instructions available online if you search for memtest live cd or live usb. But you do have to read them...

If it's a Dell machine, use the built-in hardware diagnostics and let it run the full tests, not quick.

if it's a new machine then probably best to just return/exchange it - since you just got it. If not , could be a device driver update and you can probably boot into safe mode and restore to a prev checkpoint.
